About Me

As a Registered Social Worker with specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and certified as an Adult Sleep Science Coach, my commitment to promoting better sleep is rooted in both academic expertise and personal experience.

 

My journey in aiding individuals towards improved sleep began with a personal connection—supporting my partner, who faced significant challenges with insomnia. Through a dedicated pursuit of knowledge and application of evidence-based practices, I successfully assisted him in overcoming a decade-long struggle with poor sleep.

 

Understanding the reluctance many have in seeking support for insomnia, I find it crucial to share that, on average, it takes a decade for someone to seek help for chronic insomnia. Many resort to trial and error, navigating the vast landscape of online solutions and often falling prey to inappropriate or harmful practices that can exacerbate the issue.
